Ways to customize your event
Make your screening of BRINGING IT HOME more than a movie. The most exciting part is the opportunity to create unique community event. Serve appetizers and dishes that have hemp seeds, oils & protein as an ingredient or popcorn with hemp oil! Set up a hemp products and information table with samples of hemp products.
ASK YOUR AUDIENCE TO TAKE ACTION! Go to www.votehemp.com and www.hemphistoryweek.com to download information handouts and ask your audience to take action by signing letters to representatives and/or set up a computer for people to take action on industrial hemp farming policy instantly!
Host a post-screening discussion and Q&A.
The BRINGING IT HOME filmmakers are available to speak in more detail to your group about the story of industrial hemp, its many benefits, filming locations, interviewees, legislation and what each of us can do to make a difference. Speaker fees and travel expenses may apply – please contact email@example.com for more information.
Depending on location, individuals in the film, representatives of Vote Hemp and/or hemp industry representatives and celebrity endorsers may be available for a panel discussion.
To offset renting venues and equipment for screening events, we recommend finding screening sponsors (organizations or individuals) and outreach partners in your community to help underwrite expenses in exchange for recognition on promotional materials, social media and/or an opportunity to have a table at your event.
